Care Guide

How to Care for Your Naplax Relief Cap

To ensure your Naplax cap remains effective and comfortable for years to come, follow these simple maintenance steps.

1. Cleaning Your Cap

Because the M3 Medical-Grade Gel is sensitive to high heat and agitation, we recommend hand washing only.

  • Step 1: Dampen a soft cloth with cold water and a drop of mild, fragrance-free soap.

  • Step 2: Gently wipe the exterior and interior fabric.

  • Step 3: Lay the cap flat on a towel to air dry.

  • Avoid: Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or use bleach, as this can degrade the gel structure.

2. Smart Storage

When not in use, the environment matters.

  • In the Freezer: Always store your cap inside the provided protective Ziploc bag. This prevents the fabric from absorbing "freezer smells" and protects the gel from becoming too stiff.

  • At Room Temp: If you prefer heat therapy, store the cap in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

3. Longevity Tips

  • Avoid Overheating: When using the microwave, always start with 10 second increments. Overheating can cause the gel to liquefy or "pop," which is not covered by warranty.

  • The "Spare" Strategy: For chronic sufferers, we recommend keeping one cap in the freezer at all times so you never have to wait 2 hours for relief during a sudden attack.

  •  If you feel the cap temperature straight out of the freezer is too cold, we also suggest the cap can be refrigerated for an alternative experience. Please be informed the cap temperature from the fridge will not last as long, but it can give you the same or similar result.
